Yaaahh it's the weekend!  Did anyone else feel like this was an extremely long week?

Did you have a Happy Independence Day?  Matt worked the whole weekend through the 4th but we still managed to spend a little time with family and friends.   We both missed going to South Bethany for the annual Independence Day trip but hopefully we'll get a chance to visit next year.

By now most of you have probably received our wedding invitations.  Thanks again Aunt Eileen for getting all of those out for us, they really look great!

I hope everyone that plans on coming has had a chance to book, I know final payments for all the payment plans were due Thursday.  If you still haven't booked we have the rooms held until the 15th.  If you want to book after the 15th we can't guarantee there will be any rooms left but if you do, Raylene can still work her skills to get you the same price we had for everyone else.

Also I've got to throw a shout-out to one of the bridesmaids, Ashley, she was doing some price shopping on the rooms and found them cheaper on a different website.   I talked with Raylene and let her know and they gave us an even bigger discount!  You'll see a credit back to your card if you've already settled up with Raylene or she adjusted the balance on your final payments. THANKS ASH!!

More reminders:

1. PASSPORTS - Do you have yours and is it still valid?

2. Have you booked your flight? Southwest from Houston has been the best price from everything we've seen, for the Houston people. Plus with southwest you get 2 free checked bags.

3. Let Raylene know you're flights so she can schedule your transportation

4. Get ready to have fun in Mexico!

For those that are curious:

the wedding and reception are both on the beach - so wear comfortable clothes.  Guys linen pants/ nice slacks with a nice collard shirt.  Ladies its the beach so a nice flowy dress or skirt works.  As for your shoes, we'll be in the sand so you can leave your stilettos at home.

Since we're going to Mexico it's your choice if you want to get an international plan added to on your cell phone plan if you don't already have it.  Since the hotel has wifi we plan on using that with "whatsapp" .  We advise to download the app because it works with all the contacts already on your phone and any phone.  imessage works with wifi if you have an iphone but not everyone has an iphone.  This way it saves on all your data charges.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me or Raylene if it is about the travel. You can also check out our wedding website where we've posted a lot of different information.

WHOA, 114 more days!

It seems so far away, but it really isn't.  Good news though, I found my dress!  It was literally the weekend after I sent the last email.  Matt had found his suit so I knew it was time for me to focus.

We finished our Whole 30....yaaaaaa... kind of, Matt only completed a Whole 20 since he was leaving for Las Vegas on day 31. The exciting news was that we both lost some weight and now we're starting to work out and really get motivated.  We've got to look good on the beach right? We are continuing to eat mostly whole30 but we won't deprive ourselves of Pizza Friday.

Oh and Vegas, he came back in one piece from his bachelor party.  I'm sure there were plenty of stories I didn't hear but from what I heard all 11 of the guys had a fun time.  Matt now wants a trip like that annually.

We have the room block for another month so if you haven't booked yet I'd advise doing it within the next few weeks so you're guaranteed to get a room.  You can still book after July but we can't guarantee you will get the discounted pricing or that there will still be rooms available.

For those of you that are making payments on your rooms, final payments are due mid July. If you have any questions just make sure to contact Raylene. (702) 522-1656

If you are looking for flights from Houston, Southwest has some good flights.  Matt and I found a round-trip for $270 each.

Those of you leaving from the DC/Maryland area American Airlines has a short (under 6hr flight time) 1 stop round trip for $381. from BWI.  It has an hour layover in Charlotte.

1. Also I wanted to make sure to remind you- CHECK YOUR PASSPORTS - We are going to Mexico so they're required.
If you need help figuring out how to get your passports check this link:

2. You still have time to book a room if you haven't already. (email Raylene or check this website:  http://travel.everafter.com/JenniferandMatthew )

3. Once you book, remember Final Payments for the rooms are due July 7, 2016

4. Flights, Flights, Flights ...You need to book your flights!

5. Once you have your flight info - send it to Raylene Murray - She sets up the transportation to and from the Hotel.  She needs to know your schedule if you want a ride.

Hey Everyone,

It's been a few months so we thought it would be a good time to check in.  We feel like we have been non-stop since Christmas with so many things going on.  We bought our house...yaaah!  Now we're ready for some pool parties.  I know Matt already has some planned for May.

Not only the house but we've had births, birthdays, showers and weddings to attend for just about every weekend.  Oh and who could forget Final Four weekend where Eric, Joe and Pat came to visit.  That was a lot of fun guys and What A Game! Plus it was a great opportunity to see Matt's cousin Chris while he was in town to watch his school win the Championship ....that was Villanova for those of you that don't follow College basketball.

Now as we get closer to the wedding we are really working on getting everything together.  We're trying this cleanse called the Whole 30.  It's not that bad, we started April 5th and plan to end May 5th.  For those of you that don't know about it, we are not allowed to eat sugar, grains, legumes, dairy or alcohol. The good news is we can eat all the veggies, fruit and meat we want....oh but how we sure have a craving for Pizza when Friday night comes along.  We are about halfway complete with the cleanse and hoping it gets us on track for losing a few lbs before the big day.

Right after the cleanse Matt has his Bachelor party in Vegas....yes thats right, it's in May.  I keep telling him I bet he is going to try to get another party in before the wedding in September....any takers on that?  His excuse is that he wants the party in Vegas and as the months progress it just gets hotter so he'd rather go now when the weather is bearable as opposed to July or August.  I can't blame him for that.

The next thing on the list, I need to find a dress! We were at Macy's the other day working on our registry and Matt managed to find his suit for the wedding.  It was too easy!  I still haven't found my dress, oh but don't worry I have plenty of time...right?

I know I've blabbered a lot but mainly I wanted to touch base and send a few reminders.

We'll be sending out our invitations somewhere near the beginning of June but since this is a destination wedding, we wanted to make sure you had plenty of notice for everything you need.

If you want to find out more information we also have a FAQ page on the website that might help answer any questions. If you don't find an answer you can always shoot us an email, text or call.

Hello again friends and family,

We hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!  Matt and I ate plenty of food and had leftovers for days.  He was not disappointed about that.  We had 2 Thanksgiving dinners that day.  We ate early with my mom and family then hightailed it to make our 2nd dinner with the Cardillo's in the Woodlands.  Special shout out to Liz, she had some AMAZING pies which were my focus for our 2nd dinner of the day.

Now we're ready for an exciting Christmas.  We are in the process of buying a home and plan to close right before the end of the year. Cross your fingers everything stays on track and then we can have you come visit!

Time has gone by so quick for us this year,  we are about 300 days away from our wedding.  We're really excited especially since we already have so many people’s rooms booked.  We really can't wait to celebrate with you!

For those of you that haven't had a chance to book or even think about booking we wanted to give an update.  As of now there are still rooms to be filled. We have rooms we've added to our room block so we can try to have enough for everyone that plans to come.  Our dilemma-  “Who's coming?”

If you want to make it but aren't ready to pay all that money because of the holidays, we get it! Can you do us a favor? Just shoot us an email that way we know if we should request more rooms at our group rate.  We loved this hotel when we visited in August because they were very attentive and it wasn't a massive place.  That being said there aren't a ton of rooms.

You could also do something we recommend which is make a deposit on the room.  Its $100 per person, that way you are guaranteed to have a room.  And then you'll just have to make sure you pay the full amount by mid-July.

The way the travel agency works, you can make payments whenever you want or you can set up an autopay.

When you're ready to get started go to this link:

Or Call/Email Raylene Murray

If you have questions about the resort , don't know what room to book, want to book a specific date, etc. Raylene can help.

If you can make it, we definitely want you there.

Also if you have other questions as time goes on or just want to learn more about us, you can check out our website.  We update it periodically.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love,

Jennifer and Matt

Hi friends and family,

If you’re getting this email, it means we would love for you to spend our wedding day with us in… Riviera Maya, Mexico September 29, 2016

Matt and I, along with our Wedding Planner/Travel Agent, Raylene Murray, looked at numerous amazing resorts in Cancun, Riviera Maya,  etc. Based on many reviews and taking into account location, cleanliness, atmosphere, cost & all-inclusive food & drink, we have decided on Azul Sensatori Mexico.

But why in the world are you contacting us now?! Isn’t it over a year away?

The resort is very popular and we want to make sure that the people who really want to go can take advantage of the awesome group rate they are giving us. Also, we want to make sure that you get a spot at this hotel- most of our activities will be here and it is a large fee ($99 per person to go to the wedding and $100.00 per day for food/drinks, due to this being an All-Inclusive resort, and there is no ala carte) to participate as a visitor at the hotel.

We wanted to give everyone a heads up for two separate reasons:

1.     We need to know how many rooms to reserve under the special group rate.

2.     We wanted to give everyone plenty of time to plan and to have the option to take advantage of the interest free payments that we have arranged!

What You Get with the Group Rate:

·         9 days/8 nights 09/26/2016 to 10/04/2016 with the option to stay less nights or add more nights

·         Transfers from the Airport to the hotel and back

·         Unlimited top shelf alcohol, beer, wine and all of the food and beverage you like

·         Entertainment each night – karaoke, shows, dancing, movies, live music, classes, etc.

·         Daily activities- Snorkeling, pedal boats, kayaking, bicycling, archery, dance lessons, scuba diving clinic, tennis, etc.

·         24 hour room service

·         All taxes and gratuities

·         Interest Free Payment Plan through Ever After

Matt & I STRONGLY suggest you go with this group rate and go through Raylene at Ever After because they’ll keep everyone on the same page.

This is the link to book :

https://guestbooking.everafter.com/invitation_login?url=JenniferandMatthew9-29-16

Even though you do have the option of booking on your own,  BE WARNED. This hotel tends to oversell 3rd party rooms. So a lot of times they will push you over to another hotel. And then you’ll have to pay the fees to get into our wedding. And $100.00 a day day-pass to hang out and drink/eat with us. We’ve been told by our trip organizer that this is extremely risky! We want you all to be able to be there with us and not take any risks. That is the reason we have put a limited amount of rooms on hold for our group, to ensure you get into this specific hotel.

If you are not sure about whether you are able to go or not… NEVER FEAR!!! We can apply to get you into the group rate at a later time; we just can’t guarantee these specific rates they’re giving us now, or that there will still be rooms available.  You can contact Raylene at Ever After, at a later date to ensure that you are at this hotel. Her phone number is 702-522-1656.

The next step is… within the next 2 weeks, you should put down a deposit of 100.00 for each person ($200 per room minimum)  to ensure that you have a room during our stay. That amount is applied to the cost of your room, and then the final payment is not due until Mid July 2016!  Raylene can set you up on a free payment plan too!  If you have any issues with the booking process Raylene is there to help. As of now we've only blocked off 10 rooms, if you don't find a room in the category or dates you want, let her know! She will work to accommodate all of our guests.

You are all the people we love the most. We want you to share this trip with us, having fun, making memories and celebrating our wedding.

Love,

Jennifer & Matt
