We planned a last minute getaway to Cancun for a little R&R. He picked a beautiful new resort, The Hideaway at The Royalton. It was beautiful. He told me he had something special planned, and he drove me to an area overlooking the most beautiful turquoise water I have ever seen. We walked upstairs to an awaiting helicopter. I was speechless. My first helicopter ride. As we flew over the beautiful coastline of Cancun, he tapped the pilot on the shoulder and said, "Sir, I'm going to propose to Elizabeth now." He followed with the most heartfelt proposal and committment to me and our future. The sky is the limit for us!!! Most amazing day of my life!

I know how much her family means to her, so I wanted to take her parents to dinner to discuss my plans with their daughter.  We had a wonderful dinner at Churascos, and at the end I asked for thier support of us going forward. I could tell that it meant just as much to them to be a part of this as it did for me to have thier approval.

 5/4/2015 THE BIG DAY

We drove to the El Embarcdo area of Cancun where the water was a crystal turquoise blue. She was completely suprised with the helicopter. We took off and the little box of love was hidden in my pocket. I was nervous about the logistics as the pilot continued to ramble on about the various landmarks around Cancun. He made the turn back over the beautiful water, and I knew this was our moment. I leaned over the seat and tapped him on the shoulder. "Sir, I'm going to propose to Elizabeth now." The sky is the limit!
